What's new

Recent updates and improvements to PayperPlates.

This is where we note recent updates to PayperPlates. When we ship something new, a short "What's new" summary also appears in your admin dashboard the first time you sign in after the update — you can reopen it any time from the "What's new" link in your admin footer.

Staying current

The best way to keep up with changes is right inside your dashboard:

  • The What's new pop-up highlights the headline changes in each update, with links to the relevant guides here.
  • These help guides are kept up to date as features change, so they always reflect how PayperPlates works today.

Recent highlights

  • Quick Actions bar — one-tap shortcuts to run your shop: 86 an item, close early, or bump your prep time without leaving the page. See Dashboard & Quick Actions.
  • A smarter assistant — the merchant assistant now follows you across every admin page and can make changes for you, with confirmation. See Merchant assistant.
  • Out-of-stock made easy — pull a menu item or an ingredient in seconds, and have it come back on its own at the end of the day. See Stock and 86ing.
  • Close early without breaking your hours — set an earlier close for a single day while your weekly schedule stays untouched. See Hours.

For anything you cannot find here, ask the assistant in your dashboard or contact support.
